KAOI, Maui Radio Interview with Ardent MC Employees
On July 25th, 2011 software engineer, Karen Volarich, and intern, Leslee Mahoney, represented ArdentMC on KAOI Radio. The hour long show featured interns and mentors from various business companies on Maui, including ArdentMC, the Pacific Disaster Center, and the Hawaii Department of Agriculture. The radio program was led by KAOI and the Maui Economic Development Board.
The broadcast focused on increasing awareness about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) opportunities on Maui. The show also covered the upcoming Ke Alahele benefit dinner where ArdentMC is a sponsor. The dinner will raise money for the continuation of STEM programs. Additionally, each mentor and intern shared information about their respective companies and project information.
Ms. Volarich shared general information about ArdentMC capabilities and projects. She also talked about Ardent’s connection with Federal Contracts and SBA HUBZone Certification. Ms. Mahoney talked about her summer internship at ArdentMC and the skills she is developing. Both ArdentMC employees also shared personal background information and how they became connected to ArdentMC.
