Integrated Common Analytical Viewer (iCAV)

US DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY - ICAV / GII (GEOSPATIAL DATA WAREHOUSE)

The ArdentMC team supports the Integrated Common Analytical Viewer (ICAV) Program by providing implementation services, technical expertise and program guidance. iCAV Provides a Geospatial view of a variety of data sets stored within a geospatial information infrastructure (data warehouse).

ArdentMC delivers experts experienced in the architectures and toolsets used by the geospatial tools including Oracle Application Server 10g, Oracle Database 10g, ESRI ArcSDE and ArcIMS. The ArdentMC team works both on site and off site to ensure the successful implementation of the system.

ArdentMC provides expertise implementing and configuring the Oracle Application Server Stack, a four-node load balanced OAS environment that provides the public interface the underlying data sets that make up the iCAV system. This implementation involved the installation and configuration of an 80 Terabyte Storage Area Network, Online/Hot backup Systems, Load Balanced Image Servers, and an Oracle 10g Grid Database.

In concert with the technical implementation services outlined above, ArdentMC provides direct support to the program office assisting our client in the management of the projects within the Geospatial Program Office with a strong emphasis on client outreach and training. ArdentMC trainers have conducted training sessions for various DHS users totaling over 2000 individuals trained. Sessions were designed by the ArdentMC staff, and are taught hands-on, with a positive feedback rate in excess of 90%.
