American Home Shield

The challenge facing American Home Shield (AHS) included the need to rapidly build a new home warranty product for rapid dissemination across the United States to maintain its market share as the largest Home Warranty Provider in the United States with over 3,000,000 customers. To respond to the home work order repair requests of its customers, AHS manages over 10,000 contractor businesses to respond to home owner needs.

To meet this complex contract administration challenge, ArdentMC teamed with TDS Consulting to help American Home Shield, a Division owned by Servicemaster, to build a new process for capturing new product feedback, developing new products, registering these products with state regulatory bodies, and to then manage these new contracts in the field.

Business Process Committee Creation

To ensure the longevity of process change, ArdentMC implemented a Business Process Committee (BPC) to capture process improvements across functional areas.

Through the use of Collaborative document management tools, ArdentMC designed a technology and solutions enterprise architecture scalable to multiple markets.

To obtain objective results and measure performance to meet regulatory standards, ArdentMC created an improved quality organization to conduct proactive, active, and reactive risk mitigation activities.
