Not your average HUBZone company

Certified by Small Business Administration

ArdentMC is a HUBZone concern certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2010. As a HUBZone concern, ArdentMC provides Federal Contracting opportunities to Historically Underutilized Business Zones, thus allowing federal dollars to benefit geographic areas that are underutilized.

The HUBZone program also provides a mechanism that Federal Government employees can use to more easily acquire services (i.e. HUBZone set-asides and HUBZone Sole-source procurements). This page provides general information on the ArdentMC participation in the SBA HUBZone program. ArdentMC is proud to bring Federal contracting opportunities to these underserved areas, and works as a corporate citizen to support the areas we call home.

Some examples include:

Front Royal, VA – ArdentMC’s College Assistance Program – Offers tuition coverage at the local community college for students working for ArdentMC part time and maintaining a satisfactory grade point average. The program is competitive, and on average, pays for six enrolled students every semester.

Kihei, HI – Kama’Aina Come Home – A program put on by the Maui Economic Development Board, focused on bringing home Hawaiian natives who have left the islands in search of job opportunities in the mainland. This program also supports providing high tech opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) for recent college graduates on Hawai’i.

Women in Technology – ArdentMC employees volunteer their time teaching courses on computer technology and geospatial information systems to Hawaiian students across the state via video teleconferencing equipment, encouraging these young leaders, particularly young women, to consider pursuing education and careers in math and science.
